Canine Massage

Canine Remedial Massage is a complementary therapy, that provides a holistic perspective to canine rehabilitation and health.

We work alongside both vet and owner to create an individual treatment plan that best suits your dog. No two dogs are the exactly the same. Treatment may include a mixture of remedial massage, passive stretches and active exercises, depending on your dog’s individual circumstances.

Massage is a non-invasive, relaxing and natural therapy. The manipulation of soft tissues within the body can help trigger the body’s own natural healing ability. It can also be used as a form of natural pain relief, in a long term plan of pain management. Normally following a treatment your dog will respond with a feeling of relaxation, calmness and overall well-being.

Canine Remedial Massage has ALL the SAME benefits for dogs as humans.

If you have had a massage yourself, then you will know how liberating it can feel to finally loosen up those tight shoulders or your aching back. It feels like a weight have been lifted and your body is your own again. This is exactly how your dog may feel following a massage, especially if they have been suffering from lameness or injury. Canine Remedial Massage not only aims to treat the area of concern but to re-balance the entire body.
